ABOUT

Qadira is a daughter of the young approved stallion Querido Z. That Querido is a son of the amazing jumper Dominator Z, with whom Christian Ahlmann is aiming high for the Olympics in Tokio. Querido has inherited the fantastic jumping technique of his sire, but also has a proven dam line with horses such as Ceasar VG Z (4th San Giovanni GP 1.50 m , Rebecca Lippi Bruni), H&M Gitania VG (1st 4* Wiesbaden, Olivier Philippaerts), Kastelle Memo (9th Vejer de la Frontera 4* 1.50 m, Kendra Brinkop), Alaska VG (1.55 m, Eleonore Lambilliotte), SX Hidalgo VG (1.55 m with Lorenzo Di Luca and Daniel Deusser, 1st GP 5* London Olympia, 2nd 1m60 Mechelen,  4th GP 5* Wellington), G C Atlanta VG (3th WC 7yo, Rodrigo Pessoa), Jupiter VG (2nd 1.55 m Maubeuge, 6th 1.55 m 5* Parijs and Winner of the Sires of the World, Jerome Guery), Icarus VG and Leandro VG (1.50 m, Jeroen De Winter).

The dam of Qadira, Donna van de 7 Donk, has already produced Frisco, combined with Epleaser van’t Heike (ex.  Jarno van de 7 Donk). Frisco was trained by the Czech Kamil Papousek up until the 1.45 m level, with places of honour and triumphs along their way, such as the ones in San Giovanni, Ebreichsdorf, Wiener Neustadt and Samorin. At the age of 8, Frisco moved to the Middle East, to be competed under the Jordan rider Nasouh Kayali. They have already triumphed in, among others, the 1.45 m 2* Kronenberg and the 1.40 m class in Madaba, and obtained places of honour at the CSI 4* in Hagen, Ommen, Arnhem and Al Ain. In 2019 and 2020, they climbed towards the 1.50 m courses, in which they did a remarkable job at their first World Cup participations in Sharjah and Abu Dabi.

The third dam of Qadira is Brume d’Etenclin. Brume is a descendant of the legendary thoroughbred Laudanum xx. Laudanum was the first international jumping horse for the young Pierre Durand. They have won several GP’s, Puissances and Nations Cups and have collected more than 100.000 French Francs in prize money. The cautious and courageous stallion is still a commonly loved add to a dam line.

Brume is the dam of the international jumping horse Notre Dam van de Hunters. Her youngest son, Hunters Mataro, was placed second during the BWP free jumping competition of region Vleteren and obtained an 11th place in the finals of the free jumping competition for 2 year old horses at Jumping Mechelen. She is also the granddam of the Zangersheide approved stallions Calmalau Z and Cemalau Z. Calmalau Z is the sire of the equally approved stallion Calcento of Diamonds Z.

The half-sister of Brume, Rhea d'Amencourt, is the dam of Mr Brooks B, with whom the Swiss rider Aurélie Wettstein jumped double clear at the Nations Cup for Young Riders in San Giovanni, and competed in the GP CSIO 4* in Lummen. Durion d’Etenclin entered CIC 2* eventing with Elisabetta Moranzoni.
